Using Windows before discovering Linux does have it's disadvantages. I, for one, had to find a visual mail package that I could use.

After a lot of trial and error I found one package that grabbed my attention. XFmail is everything I needed and more. Supported mail features are MH style mailboxes, POP3, SMTP delivery as well as IMAP. The windows layout is similar to that of outlook with a folder bar on the left, an index at the top and mail body in the main panel, botton right.

XFmail offers support for PGP signing and encryption, webpage and mail highlighting and multiple account on POP3 and IMAP. There is also support for mail filterting through a ruleset to make sure your mail goes to the correct mailbox and no spam enters your mailbox

One feature that I didn't notice at first but have come to love is the programms ability to keep track of the thread. Once a mail has been replied to, it keeps track of who responds and places the mail in your folder according to the possition in the thread. XFmail is a must for Users requiring a X11 mail application
