Netscape

| Console | X11 | Deamons | Development | Libraries |
| Web | | G.M.O.M.E. | KDE | Enlightenment |

With the advent of the internet ( but more so the Web - Internet http section ) the popularity of the internet has grown with amazing speed. One of the first browsers to take advantage of this was Netscape. With a clean easy interface it stormed the market and was found on every internet goer's desktop.

Unfortunately being forced out of their "spot" on the internet and loosing market share they decided to give Mozzila a new outlook on life. In this Netscape changed their license for their software to make it more accessable to other people for optimizing and bug hunting along similar lines as Linux itself.

But Netscape has been a supporter of Linux before all that and has constantly supplied non-Microsoft Computers with quality Web browsing tools
